The itch to cast on…

Oh boy, the Wild Orchid Socks that I finished yesterday took me forever to knit. I keep getting interrupted and I lost concentration power. 🤦🏼‍♀️ so of coarse I decided today to cast on two more pairs of socks.

The blue yarn on the left is going to be another pair of Mock Me Not socks and the pink yarn is going to be another pair of socks from the Summer Shorties 2019 pattern set by Nordic Stitches. I can already tell that pink yarn is going to be a pain in the arse to photograph!

I’m not sure if I will be back to post again this week so if not I hope you have a great weekend!

I can often be found with a pile of yarn listening to craft podcasts, music, or an audio book unless there is a NASCAR race on TV. I enjoy crafting handmade items to give as gifts to family and friends. I also enjoy donating handmade items in memory of my Father, Sister, and Grandfather.

  1. Ha! Casting on is my least favorite part of a project, so I tend to have whatever the opposite of “start-itis” would be. I don’t like the beginning part of a project where you are getting set up and learning the pattern and whatnot. Lovely yarn though.
